We recently announced the rebranding of our hosted student bio sheets and get to knows, making them more engaging, informational, and multipurpose. After a week of these updates being “live”, we gathered additional feedback and suggestions from volunteers, and are implementing some adjustments/improvements.

This year, through the Peter J. Westort Volunteer Leadership Award, AFS-USA chaperones will be welcome to apply for one of four $500 stipends to be awarded to four volunteer chaperones in the coming year.
The 75th anniversary of AFS-USA was celebrated by AFS staff and volunteers from around the country – and around the world – in St. Louis this past weekend. Volunteer Recognition Awards shined a spotlight on those who went above and beyond this past year.
The AFS-USA 75th Anniversary celebration will run throughout the 2022-2023 academic year, ending in June 2023. That means there is plenty of time to celebrate!
