Please join us and hundreds of other members of our AFS Family for the opening of our first Virtual AFS Summit—RISE! on Thursday, November 12th, from 8:00-9:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. This will be an opportunity to learn how AFS-USA is doing in these trying times and the important work ahead of us.
This year’s AFS Summit will be held virtually via Zoom, which means this experience is available to all AFS-USA volunteers. The RSVP deadline has been extended to Wed. Nov 4, 2020!

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for this year’s Virtual AFS Summit, which will be held November 12-15, 2020. Because it is being held virtually, any AFS volunteer who would like to participate may do so!
Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s AFS Summit will be an all virtual event to be held during the weekend of November 13th. Keep reading for more info!
AFS-USA will not be having an in person volunteer Summit this fall but will instead be having our first virtual AFS Summit!
The November 2019 AFS Summit was themed “Back to Schools” in order to emphasize the importance of school relationships to the work we do every day.
There’s still time to submit your session proposal for the November AFS Summit, which will be held in Minneapolis Nov 15-17. The theme is Back to Schools.
Educators are invited to share their proposals for the upcoming volunteer summit in Minneapolis!
