Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we want to take a moment to share our gratitude with you. For many, this holiday is a time to gather with friends and family and reflect on the good in our lives. At AFS-USA, one of the things we’re most grateful for is you—our incredible volunteers. Your dedication, compassion, and commitment to intercultural understanding make everything we do possible. Thank you for welcoming students, supporting families, and strengthening our global community every single day.

As we head into the holiday, please note our upcoming office closure:

• The AFS-USA office will close at 2:00 PM (NYC/EDT) on Wednesday, November 26.
• We will reopen on Monday morning, December 1.
• During this time, our Duty Officer system will remain active to assist with any urgent or emergency situations.
