The 2020 Virtual AFS Summit Kicks Off Tonight

The 2020 Virtual AFS Summit begins on Thursday evening, November 12 at 8pm EST, with AFS-USA President Tara Hofmann’s Welcome Address. The entire AFS family – volunteers, host families, returnees, and the families of returnees have been invited to hear Tara talk about how AFS-USA is doing during these times and the important work ahead of us as AFS moves to RISE from this difficult year.

In addition to Tara’s address, we will have a special message from AFS Returnee (Italy) and NBC News’ Chief Foreign Correspondent, Richard Engel, about the continued importance of AFS in today’s world.

We hope you can join us! If you haven’t already done so, you may register to join the Welcome Address here.

In addition, if you are still interested in participating in the other Virtual Summit sessions over the weekend – including our first virtual Volunteer Recognition Awards Ceremony and Happy Hour on Friday evening – you may email afssummit@afsusa.org and we will send you all of the information you need in order to access the sessions over the weekend.
