Do you want to get more involved with AFS or do you have ideas on how we can best engage our amazing volunteers? If so, this is the group for you!
We are looking for volunteers from across the country to drive volunteer engagement at AFS-USA, and join the Volunteer Engagement Advisory Group (Vol E AG). This is a brand new group at AFS, so it’s also an opportunity for you to be part of building something from the ground-up.
Here’s what we are looking for in group members:
- Attend and participate in a monthly virtual meeting (typically in the evening)
- Have time to dedicate each month to the group’s priorities or projects
- Correspond via email, phone, or AFS Workplace outside of our monthly meeting
- Be comfortable with thinking “outside the box”
- Commitment to follow-through
- Action-oriented
- Interest in volunteer engagement
- We like to have fun, and we hope you do too!
