Sponsored Programs is happy to announce that the 2027-28 CBYX application for American high school students has opened! Please join us in spreading the news about this fantastic full-scholarship program of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) program provides scholarships for eligible American high school students and recent graduates to spend an academic year of study and cultural immersion in Germany. Scholarship recipients will serve as “youth ambassadors” while they gain a new perspective on global current affairs and German social, economic, and political life, all while learning the German language through language lessons, day-to-day life in the culture, attending a local high school, and living with a host family. Additional activities include receptions and meetings with government officials in the U.S. and Germany.
