AFS has been informed that the U.S. Department of State has confirmed that the majority of NSLI-Y summer 2021 programs will be shifted from the in-person to virtual environments, and that candidates were informed of this yesterday evening (March 23) by email. A small number of in-person programs in Taiwan (Mandarin) and South Korea (Korean) may still occur.
