A message from AFS-USA President to all host students from Thailand and their host families currently hosted in the U.S.
This message was sent to all students from Italy and Spain (and their host families) who will be returning home on the March 27 charter flight from Chicago.
During the first part of this week, we are focusing on returning students home who are from Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Iceland. There may be additional countries able to depart this week if circumstances change and we will do our best to give you as much notice as possible.
Frequently Asked Questions Concerning Shortened Hosting Programs for Students in the U.S.
Monday night, Tara Hofmann informed all of you about the decision to shorten the programs of currently hosted students in the US, aside from FLEX and YES Sponsored Programs students. This message is an update on our planned next steps.
The following message was sent to all host families and students (Core program only, not including YES and FLEX) to clarify information concerning the change in length of their AFS program.
AFS-USA has made the decision that all AFS communities in the U.S. will cease holding any in-person student orientations and other events that bring students, volunteers, or host families together.
