Ramadan begins on March 22, 2023, which is coming up quickly. If you work with AFS students who are Muslim, now would be a great time to reach out and share the Supporting Muslim Students informational handout with the teachers and school counselors. You can also share the handout with hosted students and host families and ask them to share it with the school if you do not have a designated AFS School Representative for a particular school. This handout can be found all year on MyAFS Help & Learning so it could be part of a back-to-school packet or informational packet for a school that enrolls a student of the Muslim faith.
