You’re Invited: National Hosting Academy Series: Part III

Dear AFS Volunteers,

We hope you all remain well and enjoyed a happy 4th of July.

Thanks to all who attended the first two Hosting Academy sessions in March and June – we hope you found them useful and helpful in keeping the AFS spirit high during this busy placement season!

The Hosting Advisory Group is pleased to invite you to join us and volunteers from across the country for the second in a series of three National Hosting Academy Sessions on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 8:00 – 9:00pm Eastern.

Please register below and join us to collaboratively share best practices toward a successful placement season.

During the session, we’ll:

  1. Provide an overview of placement progress by region and nationally
  2. Check in on what results have been seen from the second Hosting Academy in June
  3. Discuss how placement teams can ensure a smooth transition and “Pass the Baton” from Placement to Support
  4. Share strategies for matching Liaisons to Placements
  5. Outline ways to foster collaboration between Hosting and Support Volunteers
  6. Continue to build positive energy as we all work toward our shared placement goals for the 2022-23 school year placement cycle!

We’re very much looking forward to seeing all of you there!

Kind Regards,

The Hosting & Support Advisory Groups
